Sometimes the easter bunny kind of... forgets to come. Luckily the easter bunny remembered to buy a bunch of sugary crap about a week ago and stashed it in our closet.
But the frenzy! The ninja sneaking up on hiding places! It was fun when we finally did it. Now is the time for the Inventory. The comparison to one's sister's stash is quite harrowing.
Why are sisters like that! They are constantly in each other's hair.
Perhaps it will be good to separate the kids for our upcoming trip to CO, even if just for a break from the intensity and freakouts. I think Eliz will do well. And it's important that she know, somehow. She's old enough. Nearly ten years old is old enough to start to understand death.
Although I certainly don't understand it. I don't really think it will happen, not really. My family is the exception. And all my friends.
Manny and I are going for a walk in the pouring rain. Kind of psyched!
Hoppy Easter, Jo! Were you ever present at one of our Easter egg hunts? We had the golden egg--if you found it you got $5.00, the Sid Viscious Memorial egg that you would throw against a wall, and the cursed egg, which would give you a year's bad luck. If Ms Jane found the cursed egg, she would just ignore it and let someone else find it.

Correction--"Vicious" is the spelling--where's spell check when you need it?

I only did that once. Or twice.
