Went to the neighborhood mother's club picnic in the park with a bunch of moms of tiny children, and us, the veteran moms of kids in school, sitting around with Ep, JP and Scarlett saying snide veteran things while our children went wilding over the park without us.
And eegads! We came back and our cats suddenly get along! They're frolicking and chasing and prrrwwrttting! How great! And Betsy is no longer following me around moping and MOW MOW MOWing. Little Milty has become a part of the family already. Yay. He's so damn sweet. The girls can carry him around like a baby and he doesn't use his claws. Cute!
Playing paws around the wall with Betsy, who can't fully retract her claws. Yipes!
Milty is adorable! And I'm so happy Betsy is getting along with the new kitty. I want a cat, but I'm leaving the area in 5 months and it wouldn't be very fair to the new kitty because I won't have a place to keep it when I leave.

All this catblogging has made me so sentimental about my old guy Waldo (aka "Wubble"). Soooo sentimental, in fact, that today I even purchased an art print of a Siamese cat staring out of a window! I coudn't help it. It's all your fault, Jo!!! Now I don't know where in the hell I'm going to hang this thing:
