Heading to the East Bay today to attempt a change in venue as a mood shakeup. I've been so low, so very low. It's immensely cheering, though, to know that I'll at least get out of the house today.
It seems like every book I start reading is a huge bummer. Any suggestions for a happy book?
If you're willing to go YA, I'd recommend The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, and maybe An Abundance of Katherines.

I just read Middlesex, and I lived it a lot.
