I'm back! I'm back! I'm back! Back home again. It was quite the adventure, let me tell you. I'll tell you about he worst day, when I had a very low blood count and had to have two units of blood, and then had the worst pain of my life, a definite 9 or 10 where I was sobbing in bed and the nurses were runnign around trying to figure out how to help. They gave me a one-time 4-times too much squirt of dilautid, but it didn't work, and then finally the oxycontin kicked in.
Meanwhile my roomate, who had had the same surgery from the same surgeon on the same day, was calmly saying "It's okay Jo, It's okay, you're okay..." But the rest of the time the pain was in control and the doctor was fine and everything went pretty smoothly.
Welcome back! I'm glad your worst day is behind you.
