Of course Betsy, as the crazy cat, doesn't know how to bury her damn poop. I just can't face it right now but pretty soon I have to go over there and deal with it.

not a paper,a simple paragraph. you write down a simple objective (e.g. i will do x, where x is something simple like implement more effective cataloging methods or some such)
then you write down a specific goal(e.g. i will increase my cataloging speed? volume? breadth? whatever by z% (50?) by (some date --say, a week before the internship is to end?)
then you write down how you plan to achieve this (e.g. i will utilize the library's own resources, both electronic and human, to improve my catalogging speed? volume? breadth? whatever)
and then write down how you will assess that you did it (e.g. i catalogued x books in the first week of my internship. in the last week of my internship i will catalogue y books, an increase of z%.)
at the end of the internship you write a similar simple paragraph saying how you did (change the tenses.) you give all this to whoever is asking for it and that's that. (you don't have to meet the goals.)

Yes. Thanks. I think taking each of the things in turn I can figure out how to measure them somehow.
