I feel like things are slowly but surely draining away, inevitably toward a motionless summer. Ep and Merlin are leaving today and that takes away the main people we're used to hanging out with to do various things. Boo hoo! We'll miss them. I don't really know how we'll entertain ourselves while they're gone. I guess we can hang out at their house and play the Wii.
Today, however, we're driving up to Marin to hang out with C. He's never hung out with my kids for very long, nor my kids with him, so I don't know what will happen. I hope they like each other.
Got a call from Jules just now. Her brother had his appendix out yesterday! OMG! Sounds like he's fine. He'll be in the hospital for a couple of days.
