My Words

This morning I arrived early at church and helped cut cheese into cracker-sized pieces, and then sat around listening to the choir rehearse. Later on at the service Jules the minister actually used a piece I wrote on depression! It was about the descent into pure sadness and is similar to something I wrote in the bp diary. There I was! She didn't identify me of course and she asked in advance if she could use me. I was glad to be of service.

At three today I'm going for a hike at Woodedge park with my friend Karen from church. She's good company so it should be fun.

Cleanup after the rainbow cake was extensive. Everyone in the church had a piece to celebrate the California Supreme Court ruling in favor of same-sex marriage. Hooray!

Time to eat some lunch. My neighbor just stopped by with brownies! What a piece of luck! Homemade from scratch.
